When we founded Ursanex, we wanted a name that carried the weight of our history while mapping out our future. It’s built on two core pillars that together captures our identity:

Ursa: Latin for bear.

It represents strength, protection, and steadiness. It is also a deliberate tribute to our alma mater, Brown University. We carry that mascot with us as a reminder of the academic curiosity and clinical rigor that defines our approach.

Nexus: Represents the connection.

We see Ursanex as the "connective tissue" between clinicians, innovators, and early-stage companies.
